A Compliance Officer will routinely monitor state and federal regulations. As new regulatory requirements take effect, the compliance officer will work to proactively modify their client’s compliance program to accommodate these changes. By maintaining a current working knowledge of applicable regulatory guidelines, the compliance officer should act as a resource for compliance concerns raised by the client and coordinate with the appropriate departments to design and analyze the impact of any process changes required by the regulation. Modifications to client’s compliance plan will be completed in a timely manner in conjunction with compliance requirements.The workplace of a compliance officer is a fast-paced environment that must be carefully organized. The Virtual CISO acts as the client liaison for a specific territory of Managed Security clients. Coordinates SOC & CSE teams and client-facing delivery experience. Own the post-sales side of the Managed Security client lifecycle including but not limited to: Client onboarding, project management, client policy and procedure development, client training and education, etc... Interface with client decision-makers to help select, oversee and provide appropriate leadership and management for any initiatives that are related to the main cybersecurity of a client. Plan, prepare and lead client Quarterly Business Reviews to ensure quality service and to address any unmitigated risks while aligning security with the business objectives.
